What to expect at the Olive Branch Farmers Market

26 June / 2024

In DeSoto County, Mississippi, we take pride in the locally made products our state has to offer. To shop some of the best homegrown and handmade items, head to the Olive Branch Farmers Market.

Created by the Old Towne Association, the market is now operated by the City of Olive Branch and was recently certified by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture’s Genuine MS Program. That program encourages and promotes access to fresh local food and supports the growth of local food networks.

Located conveniently in the City Hall parking lot on Saturday mornings, residents can visit with family-owned vendors and enjoy nearby coffee shops and restaurants, making the farmers market a true community hub.

Plan for a consistent presence from vendors such as Adobe Ranch, Cottonville Farm, Bill’s Gardening, and Gopher Bakery. A visit to the Olive Branch Farmers Market gives you direct access to premium meats, raw local honey and jams, fresh produce and fruit, plus baked goods and sweets.

Everything at the Olive Branch Farmers Market is grown, raised, made and/or created in the ‘Sip. The family friendly market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., through Sept. 8 in the City Hall parking lot at 9200 Pigeon Roost Road.
