There’s always something going on in DeSoto County. Below are just a few snippets of the good news various media outlets have shared as of late.
- The Commercial Appeal highlighted how youth baseball has impacted our area greatly over the years.
- A developer is exploring building a 27,000-square-foot conference center, three hotels, multiple restaurants and 254 living units in Olive Branch’s Maywood community as reported by The Daily Memphian.
- Crumbl Cookie in Olive Branch had a *sweet* grand opening day earlier this month, selling nearly 4,000 cookies on its first day, according to DeSoto Times Tribune.

- Catch the Memphis Americans’ final home matches on March 27, or see for King & Country on March 31 or Hank Williams Jr. on April 1 at Landers Center in Southaven. Click here for details and tickets.
- Sip, shop and stroll at Silo Square on April 4 from 3-8 p.m. Enjoy drinks, light bites, deals and more for participating stores.
- Head to the Wesson House Lawn for the Olive Branch Old Towne Spring Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. on April 7, 14 and 28. Don’t forget your blanket or lawn chair!
- Make reservations for brunch with the Easter bunny at Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando on April 9 at 10 a.m. or April 10 at 11 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be available on the farm for pictures for an additional fee.
