Small Business Spotlight: Magnolia Bend Grille

05 Dec / 2024

In early November, beloved local chef Michael Patrick opened Magnolia Bend Grille at Bonne Terre in Nesbit, Mississippi. This fine-dining establishment is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner Wednesday-Saturday or for an elevated Sunday brunch with the family.

The inspiration for the name Magnolia Bend Grille stems from the Scottish meaning of Nesbit, which is a bend in the river or road and “magnolia,” as it is the state flower. Chef Michael and his wife, Angel, are excited to bring a new fine dining experience to DeSoto County.

The menu features various steak and seafood options with a Southern twist, including filet mignon, pan-seared salmon, and shrimp and grits. Chef Michael even included a few popular items from his former Downtown Memphis restaurant, Rizzo’s Diner. Think lobster pronto pups and blueberry white-chocolate chip bread pudding – yum.

Magnolia Bend Grille’s menu and ambiance will have you planning your next visit before it’s time for dessert! For a sneak peek, check out the restaurant’s website or Facebook page.
