Get wild at Arkabutla Lake in Hernando.

Arkabutla Lake provides a variety of activities and several ADA-accessible amenities, including endless hunting, fishing, exploring nature trails, boating or biking. The area boasts more than 30,000 acres of public hunting land, over 200 campsites, eight boat ramps, swimming beaches, playgrounds, picnic areas and a disc golf course.

Take a stroll at Olive Branch City Park.

Enjoy walking and mountain bike trails, a multi-lane track, dog park, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, three fishing lakes, and an ADA-accessible playground at Olive Branch City Park’s 135-acre property. 

Grab the family and explore Central Park in Southaven.

Located in the heart of Southaven, Central Park offers fun activities for the whole family. From disc golf, to exercise equipment, to a playground area and picnic tables – Central Park is the perfect place to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. 

Get sporty at Latimer Lakes Park in Horn Lake. 

Latimer Lakes Park is a 120-acre park featuring a nature walking trail, lighted tennis courts, baseball, soccer and football fields; fishing lakes, a 20-hole disc golf course, a volleyball court, a playground and a skateboard park. 

Playtime never looked more fun at Conger Park in Hernando.

There is plenty of fun to be had at Conger Park! The park, built in 2001, boasts four pavilions, an innovative wood playground, two tennis courts, and walking trails.

Take some swings at BankPlus Sports Center in Southaven.

At BankPlus Sports Center, guests of all ages can take practice swings in batting cages, play rounds of outdoor mini golf, take part in tennis matches and more at this sprawling Southaven property.

Outdoor opportunities are on the rise across DeSoto County.

Recently, the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors announced a new park will be built on Craft Road across from Lewisburg Schools. Lewisburg Park will boast 3+ acres of land, a gazebo with picnic tables, a walking trail and a handicapped-accessible covered playground.
