If you haven’t made summer travel plans to DeSoto County, Mississippi, yet, here’s a bit of encouragement. We are giving away a $50 gift card that can be used at Coffee Central’s Hernando and Southaven locations to one lucky winner! 

Entrants must be 18 years or older and live outside of DeSoto County. The randomly selected winner will be required to submit a photo of their ID to prove they reside outside of DeSoto County. Why is that, you ask? We simply want to encourage summer travel and expose visitors to the best of what DeSoto County has to offer.

ELIGIBILITY: Coffee Central’s $50 Gift Card Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is only open to persons living outside of DeSoto County, Mississippi, who are 18 years of age or older. To be eligible, all entrants must meet the aforementioned criteria and must submit the required information listed below by 11:59 p.m. on July 28, 2023. 

HOW TO ENTER: The entry period for the sweepstakes begins on the date of publish of this blog post and continues through 11:59 p.m. on July 28, 2023. No purchase is necessary to enter. All persons must submit their name, email and clear photo of the front of their photo ID. All photo IDs must be considered valid under U.S. law and cannot be expired. Blurry and indistinguishable images will not be considered and are grounds for disqualification of consideration. Entries submitted by any persons who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will not be considered. There is a limit of one entry per person.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Following the conclusion of the entry period, one winner will be randomly selected. The winner will be contacted July 31, 2023. The winner will be required to submit a photo of their ID to confirm they are from outside of DeSoto County, Mississippi. Once received, they will be awarded a $50 gift card to Coffee Central. The odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries. The winner will be informed of their win via email contact to the email address the winner provided during entry. If selected, winners have five business days to respond and accept the prize. Failure to respond to notice of entry within five business days will result in forfeiture of winnings and a new winner will be selected. The winner is subject to verification of eligibility and may be required to present valid identification in person prior to receiving the prize.

PRIZE: One prize will be offered. The prize includes one $50 gift card valid at Coffee Central’s Hernando location (39 W. Commerce St., Hernando, MS 38632) and Southaven location (5627 Getwell Rd., Southaven, MS 38672.) No cash value. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of the right to receive the Prize is permitted. DeSoto County Tourism is not responsible in any event that the prize cannot be redeemed. 

USE OF INFORMATION: By entering the sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to receive email correspondence from DeSoto County Tourism. Entrants may revoke their email subscription with DeSoto County Tourism at any time by selecting “unsubscribe” found at the bottom of all email correspondence. Entrants must agree to receive email correspondence from DeSoto County Tourism during the time of the sweepstakes in order to be notified if they win. The selected winner who meets all qualifications to receive the prize agrees to have their first name and photo shared on DeSoto County Tourism’s social media accounts. All personal information supplied outside of the winner’s first name is subject to applicable data protection laws
