A basketball fan’s guide to DeSoto County

Where to stay

You could check out the brand-new Fairfield Inn, located in the popular Silo Square district filled with restaurants and retail stores. Other nearby options include Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Home2 Suites, Holiday Inn and Avid Hotel. All these options (and more) are located less than 5 miles from Landers Center.

Head to Tekila Modern Mexican, Georgia Blue or Memphis Barbecue Co. for lunch before tipoff. Finally, celebrate a Bulldog win with dinner at Mesquite Chop House. And before heading home, snag a sweet treat from Vampire Penguin or DeSoto Snow & Creamery. 

What to do
